Smile Tech Co., Ltd. has been on a path of continuous growth based on its know-how and technology since 2007, with its main product being metal interior and exterior panels for construction. After continuous research and development to quickly respond to the endlessly diversifying architectural forms, we devoted ourselves to research on seismic safety of products in preparation for the recent increasing frequency of earthquakes on the Korean Peninsula. As a result, we passed a seismic performance test at the Pusan National University Earthquake Disaster Prevention Center with a maximum acceleration of over 0.77g and were earthquake resistant. As a patented product to which the system was applied, it was designated as a performance certification (December 2020) and an excellent procurement product (October 22).
